About Our Organization
Americans United Against Destructive Driving (AUADD) battles the scourages of destructive driving in three ways. Teen prevention education, Legislative action, and Victim services. Together, they create a powerful and proven formula. Together with our supporters we will continue to save lives using these three tools.
We are a IRS recognized, 501c3 charitable organization. Anything you donate to us, is tax deductible for the full value of the item. Please go to the top of the page to the “What can be donated’ tab, to see what can be donated. If you wish to mail a check, that address is 1333 Burr Ridge parkway, Suite 257, Burr Ridge, Ilinois, 60527. To make an immediate impact, please go to the top right of any page and click the blue donate button. There you will be able to help using a credit card or debit card. A recipt fo any donation will be mailed or emailed to you immediately.

Once you view our about us video, please click on any page to view our first Public Service Announcement (PSA). The subject is our car donation program. A teen receives his first car, and is moved to donate it to his neighbor, due to her vehicle being totalled (first seen) in a destructive driving crime. We don’t call the “accidents”. When someone decides to get behind the wheel and drive destructively, that is not an accident…that is a CRIME!
If you were involved as a victim in a destructive driving crash, and have lost the ability to use your vehicle due to that crime, please call us to see if we can help. If you are in an area that we have a “vicitm transportation van”, or an area in which we have a running vehicle that we can donate to you directly from a donor. If all else fails, we should have the ability to supply you with a free LYFT ride. Due to our partnership with LYFT, we have the ability to reach people in now 44 states, and over 434 cities. Our Team
Being a 100% volunteer organization since our inception in 2003 (TADD), our volunteers are the most valuable asset we have. Without these kind and generous people, we would not be able to do the critical work that we do, 7 days a week.

Our Partnership with LYFT
Our partnership with LYFT, will allow us to expand our victim program, to reach victims throughout the U.S., allowing us to transport victims of destructive driving crimes, to critical Doctor’s appointments, grocery store trips, school and virtually any other place a victim would otherwise not be able to reach, due to their vehicle being damaged, due to being a victim of a destructive driving crash, until which time their case is adjudicated.
Please note: As of May 1st, 2020, we must suspend our van transportation for vicitms, due to the C19 virius pandemic. Our partnership with LYFT will still be available to help some victims throughout the country. Please contact us if you are a victim of a destructive driving crash, and have lost the only transportation in that crash. We will do our best to help you with your transportation issues. We hope to have our van transportation back as soon as possible.
